Caseer Academy (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates the Caseer Academy learning platform (website and mobile app). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide and improve our service:

  • Account information: phone number, name, profile details (e.g. education level, city).
  • Learning progress: courses enrolled, lessons completed, quiz results.
  • Enrollment and purchase status: we record whether you are enrolled in a course. Payment for courses is not processed inside the app or via Google Play; it is arranged outside the app (e.g. via WhatsApp, phone, or email contact with us). We do not collect or store payment card details in the app.
  • Device and usage data: to improve the app and fix issues (e.g. app version, basic analytics).

This app does not use Google Play in-app purchases or in-app billing. Purchases or payments for courses are handled outside the app.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: provide access to courses and content; manage your account and progress; send you one-time codes (OTP) for login via WhatsApp (see below); record enrollment status; and improve our platform. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Payment for courses is handled outside the app and is not processed through the app or Google Play.

3. WhatsApp and One-Time Codes (OTP)

To sign in or register, we send a one-time verification code to your phone number via WhatsApp (using Meta’s WhatsApp Business API). We use this only to verify your identity. We do not use WhatsApp for marketing unless you have agreed. Meta’s use of data is governed by Meta’s policies; we recommend reading WhatsApp’s privacy policy for how Meta handles data.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We may share data with: service providers that help us run the platform (e.g. hosting, payments, WhatsApp/Meta for OTP); or when required by law. We do not sell your data. We use industry-standard measures to keep your data secure.

5. Data Retention

We keep your account and learning data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time; see our Data Deletion Instructions page for how to do this.

6. Your Rights

You can update your profile and preferences in Settings. You have the right to request access to your data, correction, or deletion. To request data deletion, please follow the steps on our Data Deletion Instructions page or contact us.
